With the violin in her care, Hino must now compete in a musical competition, but the guilt of not having true musical talent consumes her. Lili’s dream is to bring happiness to people with music, but Hino isn’t sure she has what it takes to be the one to do it. Can Hino perservere, or will she abandon Lili’s dream?

Reasons you might like La Corda D'Oro ~primo passo~..

animelover1477 says..

they are both reverse harem that have to do with a girl that seems to attract all the guys to her with her lovable wuality, in uta no prince-sama there may be a guy that will start to like haruka just like in la carda, with the main girl and the guy with the blue hair(forgot name). either way they both have to do with music and a school that focuses in music. another similarity is that the girl in uta no prince-sama haruka may have a talent but she has o work really hard to play the piano in la cardo (spolier sorta) the girl also was given the talent to play he violin but after she lost that she studied hard to learn to play it again

Trinityx94 says..

Reverse Harem? Filled with Bishies? Revolving around music? It's obvious that the two of these animes are very similar and therefore if you like one you'll definitely like the other.

In terms of what you're looking for in an anime though, they can slightly vary. If you are looking for a storyline with a little meaning and an anime that focuses on the instrumental side of music, you're probably going to want to watch LCD more. The characters appear to have more depth and stray from the stereotypes, something that is rare nowadays. However, Love 1000% has its own unique points of view. With each episode there will be new music, new songs, something that is very intriguing and you can look forward too all the time. The initial storyline takes a while to get going, but it is in it's own right, something to watch.

I gurantee if you enjoy one, you're likely to enjoy the other :)

sm3xyang3l says..

Both animes revolve around one girl whose studying music at a music school. Both protagonists are surrounded by a lot of bishonens who all end up infatuated with her. Both animes are really good and i think if you like one of them you'll most likely like the other!!!

WhiteInkDrop says..

They are both very similar. One deals with classical music, while the other deals with modern music. But it's still music! They are both, in a way, reverse harems filled with handsome male characters. The plots for both are quite meaningful as well. Would you like the other if you liked the first? Probably, yes!

Lel0uchViBritannia says..

Both animes revolve around one girl whose studying music at a music school. Both protagonists are surrounded by a lot of bishonens who all end up infatuated with her. Both animes are really good and i think if you like one of them you'll most likely like the other!!!

Annalyn says..

The moment I started Uta no Prince-sama, I thought of La Corda D'Oro. I waited six episodes to make the recommendation, just to confirm the connection, but my first instinct was right. Both have many charismatic, musically talented male characters created basically to make girls squeal. They both have a kind female lead whom all the cute boys are drawn to. Basically, if you finish one and want more shoujo/reverse harem, try the other. I'm pretty sure you'll like it.

kilala0princess says..

Both animes have a girl who is trying hard in the Music buisness and in both it is in a 'music school'. I strongly recommened the other one if you liked the other! :)

snivets says..

Two reverse harems featuring plenty of bishounen in the eye candy department, both UtaPri and La Corda D'Oro are also set at music schools & have plain lead female MCs. It's safe to say that if you enjoyed one show, you'd probably enjoy the other.

geisha says..

Both are reverse harems that focuses om the musical skills of their characters and their relationships to each other. They were both also adapted from otome games.

yamamotochigusa says..

Both animes are based off of an otome game. They are reverse harem animes with a music theme. The only difference is LCDO has another female character in a music group while a UtaPri doesn't. Some of the characters are pretty similar in personality and background. Kazuki Hihara is similar to Otoya, Len is like Tokiya, and Azuma Yunoki has Masato's family life, Ren's flirty personality aling with playing a woodwind instrument, and Natsuki's personality (you'll see). Keiichi and Syo are both blonde hair, blue eyed, shotas who play a stringed instrument. Ryoutarou Tsuchiura is similar to Masato because they both are pianists and have some sort of rivalry with a welathy musician in a different class(Class A for Masato with Ren in Class S and General Branch for Tsuchira with Len in the Music Branch).

ViolentTenshi says..

Definetely there is a similarity between the two anime. The unanswered couple idea is also the case. You will either love it or hate it for that reason.

Ouran High School Host Club

  • TV(26 eps)
  • 2006

Ouran High is a school for the extremely wealthy or, in Haruhi's case, the extremely talented. But no amount of talent will help when Haruhi accidentally drops an eight million yen vase in a music room. The vase was the property of Ouran High School Host Club, a group of attractive young men who, for a fee, provide their time and affections for their lovesick clientele: the female students. Fascinated by this strange new specimen, a poor and clumsy commoner, they force Haruhi to work for them until the debt is repaid; but they get a lot more than they bargained for..

Reasons you might like Ouran High School Host Club..

furu101 says..

They both have prestigious schools. They are both somewhat reverse harem also. Each have an element of romance, comedy, and school life.

Buni says..

Both of the female leads are granted permission to go to a top notch school coming from a one parent home and through an odd cercumstance winds up befriending the arguably top six boys in the school. The oblivousness to the flirting from the boys is also the same.

cahbayb says..

They are both about idols with a female lead who has great qualitites that everyone loves and a male who is at first standoffish but they really have a connection. If you like one you'll like the other.

dandere says..

Both are harem anime, which means many of the male characters in this anime are in love with the main female character. All characters in both anime are at a very special high school.

mahaaamiho says..

they both have the same feeling to them..

the main girl being loved by many guys who are all like princes and every thing

anyway they are both really fun to watch

Brightstone says..

Both have the main girl enter highschool and the group of however-so-many guys go after her, obvious or not. All of the guys have diffrent personalitys and know eachother. In the end their all friends, but the girl ends up with one of them.

yamamotochigusa says..

Both are reverse harems with romance. They are also shoujo. The animes take place at a school that is really hard to get into. Saotome Gakuen is considered a boarding school though. The harem has a variety of different personalities, like the silent Tokiya and the outgoing Otoya. Tamaki and Tokiya both have the same seiyu. Other characters have similar voice actors. The girls change the opinion, views, and decisions of the harem.

xuwuo says..

Both are reverse harem in some way or another. Both take place at school and are pretty similar. Although Uta no Prince is more of a reverse harem, you get sort of the same thing from both shows. Each falls under the school, romance, reverseH, and comedy categories.

Brothers Conflict

  • TV(12 eps)
  • 2013

When Chii’s father remarried, she gained more than just a stepmother - she also became the stepsister to thirteen brothers! And as if her now massively-sized family isn’t enough to handle, the girl also learns that they’ll be moving in together! Chii’s new brothers are eager to help her feel welcome, but with everyone living together without parental supervision, the arrangement might lead to more than just new friendships..

Reasons you might like Brothers Conflict..

ofall says..

Chi and Nanami are both your typical, sweet reverse harem heroins that suddenly find themselves surrounded by gorgeous men of all different sorts. They got sweet, happy boys, tsundere boys, womanizer boys, anything.

Lynn7898 says..

Both Uta no Prince-sama and Brothers Conflict surround a similar female lead; one who is kind, forgiving and soft-spoken. Both girls are the centre of affection of an onseet of very different men.

Annalyn says..

The main characters in Uta no Prince-sama and Brothers Conflict are similar - both are very sweet, gentle girls who care more for the people around them than for themselves. They're both surrounded by too many interested young men. The audience is treated to a song and dance routine by the male characters every episode in the OP or ED, which is arguably the best part of some episdodes. The biggest difference? The boys in Brothers Conflict should be charged with sexual harrassment. That detail is the only thing that should keep fans of one show from liking the other.

Oh, and if you are a hardened cynic and just like to laugh at stereotypes in reverse harems, then both of these should draw a few chuckles.

AChildPrincess says..

Both of these are incredibly cute, and I think that they have a similar feel. Not to mention they both revolve around the otome/reverse harem theme. ^ ^

Brightstone says..

Both of them have the main girl who comes in the picture with a lot of guys going after them. They all are diffrent and somehow all know eachother.

hhill says..

Both shows are straight up reverse-harem, otome style animes with plenty of lovely bishies and completely vacant heroines. I feel like Uta no Price-sama was a little more substantial in terms of story line, while Brothers' Conflict was less cheezey but had a higher creep factor. Don't get your hopes up for a clean conclusion to Brothers' Conflict, though. That said, I watched ALL of both in record time. If you liked one, you'll probably like the other.

KarinXOXO says..

If you like Brothers Conflict or Uta no Prince-sama, you would like the other because both anime have that same reverse harem feel: a sweet female lead amongst an army of hunky, eye-candy men with all different personalities. They both also have an otome feel to them along with some cute and cheezy factors.

B-PROJECT

  • TV(12 eps)
  • 2016

Tsubasa is a new hire in the A&R department of the major recording company Gandala Music. Tsubasa is immediately assigned to oversee the idol unit 'B-PROJECT,' which is made up of three idol groups: Kitakore, Thrive, and MooNs. This is Tsubasa's first job, and she gets involved in various incidents and accidents as she deals with this group of young men who each have their own differing personalities.

Reasons you might like B-PROJECT..

Shiann148 says..

Its a really good anime. I practically fell in love with it.

The songs are really catchy and I still have them in my head.

They do have some romance!!!

I highly reconmend it.

aztroexorcist11 says..

A group of male idols forming a harem around the main protaganist who isn't in the group, but helps them from the background. THEY R LITERALLY THE SAME CONCEPT. There's no way you can like one and not the other. Although tbh didn't like either.

Animesugarsugar10v3 says..

Basically the same theme. But there is only 3 episodes of B-Project out so.. so far i loved watching this animw i know yoi will too!

cm1000 says..

Both have a group of pretty boys who are idols. In both there is a girl who helps the guys out. The music is also really catchy in each.

Bubblebishie says..

Both of these are very similar in the idol genres , but let's not forget how bloody gorgeous the characters are ? In both anime all we see is pretty boys . story line ? There's a story line I don't pay much attention to the storyline all I see is very good looking bishounen

songs are really good the animation is very good . I recommend if you like uta no prince Sama you like b project if you like b project you like Uta no prince Sama

pixiess says..

If you liked Uta no Prince-sama, then you would surely appreciate B-PROJECT, since they're both in the theme of idols and music.

Ezme says..

Both anime have very catchy songs that stay in your head and both have romance within the storylines of each anime. As well both are really good animes. If you like B-Project I would recommend what you watch Uta No Prince-Sama: Maji Love 1000% and visa versa.

Skip Beat!

  • 2008 - 2009

However, one day, Kyoko accidentally discovers the horrible truth: the love of her life thinks of her as a 'plain and boring woman!' Outraged, Kyoko swears revenge – she will make it even bigger than Shotaro in the entertainment world. The only question is, how will she fulfill her desire?

Reasons you might like Skip Beat!..

toxicherb says..

I think that people who like either Uta no Prince-sama, or Skip Beat! would like the other. I really like both! They both have a female leading character who's very driven in what she does. I've only watched two episode of Prince-sama, but it's really good! I was surprised at how much I like it! I definately recommend Uta no Prince-sama!

Skip Beat!'s main character has tremendous acting skills and may seem like an underdog at first, but when she displays her acting, it shocks everyone. Her acting really reaches into people's souls and seem like something very real, similar to Haruka's talent in songwriting.

Exe to iso converter online. ISOAn iso file extension is generally used for common CD/DVD disk image format. Executing that archive would decompress the ISO. Or if you are using Windows 8 or later, you can simply mount your.iso image and launch it from there. This can also be done with any 3rd party virtual CD/DVD drive like Daemon Tools.Another way how to achieve iso to exe transformation, is to compress it via some file archiver utility to a self-extracting archive, that also has EXE. This can be done in programs like WinRAR or similar.Updated: October 21, 2019.

MoonlightMeika says..

Both Uta Pri and Skip Beat follow their main character (Haruka and Kyoko, respectively) as they build the foundation to their future career. Haruka and Kyoko both had slight set backs at the beginning but managed to stick wtih their dream and their efforts have paid off. It's also very hard for anyone in either series to hate the main character; they both have the unique ability to draw everyone in.

Therefore, (as cliche as this is) I believe if you enjoyed one, you would also enjoy the other.

daysie1234 says..

When I first started watching UtaPri it reminded me sooo much of Skip Beat! There's the main femaie who is seen as an underdog in show business/music industry, main male who's a jerk in the beginning but warms up to her and who is so unbelievably famous that it seems like they are worlds apart.

cahbayb says..

They are both about idols with a female lead who has great qualitites that everyone loves and a male who is at first standoffish but they really have a connection. If you like one you'll like the other.

snivets says..

UtaPri and Skip Beat both capture the spirit of the showbiz industry, with all its ups, downs, and how it affects the people who work in it. The plots are slightly different, but don't let that fool you--both stories are about hard working young girls and the people who support them.

Tyranid5 says..

Skip Beat's female lead has a lot in common with Haruka in terms of personality and self confidence.

Skip Beat stands out as a kind of show where if you watched UtaPri and wished for a stronger female lead or perhaps less of harem-y series. Skip Beat would be my first recommendation. To satisfy either of those wants while remaining within the Idol universe.

Uta no Prince would be the kind of series from those fans of Skip Beat who like the Music side of Idol life and possibly a bit more romance while still maintaining some of the simple aspects from Skip Beat that make it so enjoyable.

Kamigami no Asobi

  • TV(12 eps)
  • 2014

Yui Kusanagi discovers a mighty sword that transports her to another world. There, this ordinary high school girl finds herself face-to-face with the mighty Greek god Zeus, who has an unusual request: remain in the dimension he has created and attend a school of legendary proportions. Zeus acts as dean for a school of young, misguided gods. The bond between humans and gods has weakened, and it is now up to Yui to teach the gods about love and what it means to be human.

Reasons you might like Kamigami no Asobi..

DarkMagicianGirl says..

In both anime is the job of the main char to get the know a handsome group of guys. And teach them about them self and love for friends and them self. Because of the main char a really close group will be formed. In uta no prince-same: maji love 10000% a awsome and handsome singing group will be formed. And in kamigami no asobi wil be a group of powerfull handsome gods.

If you like the humor and the chars in one of the anime you will like the other

Haachan says..

Well.. both introduce a girl into a large group of guys. Both have the girl bring the guys together.

I am not sure how to explain really, but I know you will like one if you like the other.

lydiax says..

It's pretty similar in terms of characters and setting (kinda). There is a girl who goes to a school and is associated with several other very attractive guys, but the story is completely different. The main heroines have similar personalities too

Brightstone says..

A lot of the character resemble each other and they both are about a girl who enters a school, and has a lot of guys who know each other, go after her.

thatotakugirl says..

Utapri and Kamigami are both adaptations of otome games that follow a regular girl attending a very out of this world school. While Utapri is more slice of life that supernatural, it manages its own magic. Both the female protagonists are, more or less, aware of how ridiculous the boys they deal with are, and it's fun to see them manage each on his own terms, and when they are in a group.

Kiniro no Corda: Blue♪Sky

  • TV(12 eps)
  • 2014

While being called a 'genius violinist,' high school sophomore Kanade Kohinata feels herself entering a plateau period and difficult to improve her musical achievements. She reunited with his childhood friend Ritsu Kisaragi at his concert and met his younger brother Kyōya. Ritsu, in a forceful manner, asked both Kanade and Kyōya to transfer to his school, Seiso Academy, to prepare for the upcoming national musical competition. Kanade's relationships with Kisaragi brothers and other handsome young men shall create more than just a few ripples in her heart.

Reasons you might like Kiniro no Corda: Blue♪Sky..

DarkMagicianGirl says..

Both the anime are about music in blue sky about classic music. In maji love 1000% aout pop. If you like music a really must to watch.

Both main chars get involved in the musicworld not acactly how they imaganed but the make the best out of it. And toucheses peoples hearts with there music

Doremi says..

I think Prince-sama and Blue-Sky are similar mainly because of the MC coming to explore new surroundings involving bishounens, and most importantly music. Prince-sama is more J-pop'ish and Blue-sky is basically classic. Both involve soothing music, heartrobbing moments, and a lot of eyecandy.

I greatly enjoyed both, and if you like reverse-harems, you definetly will too :)

ZetsubouKaiji says..

If you like bishounen boys with a talent for music then these are the titles for you. These anime both involve a female lead that gets involved with a series of pretty boys as they help each other appreciate the music even more. Both series are reverse harem anime so there is a touch of romance, but in both these anime the romance plays second fiddle to the characters' passion for music.

Kiniro is about classical music and has a lot more melodrama than Uta which focuses on pop music. However, both shows have the familiar romantic genre archetypes and fans of one will be right at home watching the other.

STARMYU

  • TV(12 eps)
  • 2015

Ayanagi Academy: home of musical dreams and insane competition. New student Yuuta Hoshitani dreams of being in show business, but to get there he’ll have to gain acceptance from the Kao Council (Cherry Blossom Flower Council), Ayanagi Academy’s five highest ranking students. For Yuuta and his friends to do well in the music department, they’ll have to get onto a Star Team, lead by the Kao Council members. Though the newcomers are struggling, they catch the interest of one of the Kao Council members, which just might send them on the starlit journey they’ve been dreaming of!

Reasons you might like STARMYU..

Bulldeg says..

Musical, handsome main male characters, idol group, high-school students, simular personalities between the characters, simular art style.

MidnightVampire says..

Both of these animes are about a musical academy where a new student enrolls with dreams to be a star. Uta no Prince-sama is about a girl who joins the group and writes the music. High School Star Musical is about a boy who wants to be a star. Other than a few minor plot changes (swaping the guy for the girl) the main storyline is almost identical. From just the first episode of High School Musical, I have to admit the guys in Uta no Prince-sama are much hotter. I'll have to wait until after I've watched more of the anime to say how similar the plot lines are. But so far the background to both animes are identical.

Deede says..

I can't wait for the 4th season of Uta-Pri and the 2nd season of Starmyu. They are both great and the music is awesome.

Reasons you might like Dream Festival!..

planettary says..

They both are very similar in the concept of idols, and training to be idols. Some character personalities in the two animes are closely related. The main difference is that Uta No Prince Sama is a reverse harem around Nanami, whereas Dream Festival! is more similar to slice of life in saying it's really focused on the life of the idols.

hamletsmage says..

Both of these anime about a group of young lads trying to make it in the idol industry. Both anime have the boys attending a certain school for idols that was started by a production company. Both anime include a mixture of comedy and drama, usually generating from something in the boys' pasts. If you liked one, check out the other, especially if you liked the singing and dancing.

AnimeFreak15 says..

both anime have a very good plot and their songs are the best but i wish there was more to Dream Festival!
